Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival
We share your love of dance.
We strongly believe festivals should be a positive experience for all dancers involved. Having fun and gaining performance experience should be every dancer's goal. Participation in the Dance MB Festival is about more than just an award – regardless of medal standing, dancers can take pride in working together as a team to do their best and sharing in a learning opportunity.
The Festival gives participants an opportunity to assess achievements, and to share ideas and aspirations and is a high-profile, non-competitive event that affords its participants opportunities for learning through adjudicators’ critiques, workshops and master classes, as well as the chance to meet with other dancers and the experience of working in a professional theatre with a professional crew. Through these elements, the Festival provides opportunities for dancers and teachers to develop technically and artistically.
Dance Manitoba prides itself in producing and presenting an adjudicated dance festival providing amateur dancers with the opportunity to grow technically and thrive artistically through the philosophy of ADJUDICATION
IS EDUCAITON. This intricate delivery of professional feedback affords the dancers to focus on
their personal development of the art of dance.
This year's Manitoba Provincial Dance Festival will take place April 30 - May 18, 2018. Deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday, February 2.
